THIS IS THE EPISODE!!! THIS IS THAT ONE EPISODE!!!! The one where the culprit is so stupid Conan couldn't solve it. I love this one!! Comedy genius!

A part of me is mad Haibara is just pushed off to the side, but I can admire her saying she doesn't want to be involved with this petty crime and doing just that. Laughing at Conan from the sidelines.

Conan just keeps on getting made fun of this whole episode I love it. He needs to be humbled

Despite being a filler I kinda like it

there are two facts Conan entirely missed in this one though.

1 while talking to the jewelry store owner, find out how DAMN LAME their security was 5 years ago! seriously, if that idiot was able to nab 3 million yen worth of stuff... what was that store doing? keeping all their stuff out on open shelves with only one employee in the store who had a tiny bladder and kept having to go to the toilet constantly all day?!!?

2 also while talking to the jewelry store owner, find out who his insurance company was 5 years ago. then Conan should have called that insurance company. there is a 'reclamation payment' in most 'high dollar' policies ... like for museums, jewelry stores, art galleries, antiques, car dealerships... that if somebody 'gets their stuff back' for the insurance company... NOT the police and NOT the original owner(s)... the insurance company will PAY THOSE who get the insurance company some of their money back in 'stuff' that went missing/stolen/damaged etc. it is usually based on a percentage of the insurance's loss regained or the value of the stuff taken.

if you get the time and have a hankering for 'live action' cops n crooks, watch 'White Collar' from the USA Network, it will be online somewheres. there's an interesting 'give and take' between a supporting character who works for a huge international insurance conglomerate and several of the main-cast.

The audio is really quiet. They were right!? lmao Conan losing it over the detective boys being right and the criminal being so simple. Wait, is, is the criminal sweeping up his mess, this is- like why did he become a criminal in the first place? He doesn't seem like the type of person to. Pfft, Conan at the end. You can tell he wanted to snap, especially after Genta started patting his head lol.

What a nice thief. He even praised the kids 🤣
It kind of felt bad that he was arrested. Plus, it's hilarious that Conan/Shinichi was sulking!

Conan had a mental breakdown. I felt bad fir him. He went through depression because he was used to overthinking the cases. I mean why wouldn’t you if everyone you've met is a genius at murder. And losing to a bunch of kids. Thats gotta suck

i'm just here to marathon the canon episodes, but enjoyed this filler so much, and def a Mitsuhiko case, so cute!! Conan is uncomfortable not having the spotlight on him AHAHAHA
